Our Infant and Nursery departments at Grays School are on two separate sites approximately one mile apart. The same headteacher, governors and administrative staff manage both departments.

'Children learn through play.' In play they investigate, plan, construct and begin to make sense of the world. They enjoy being active. The nursery provides a range of stimulating learning activities and an attractive environment in which children can feel safe and confident. We want to make learning enjoyable so that they develop a love of learning that will stay with them all their lives.

Our Nursery provides a structured envirnment in which children feel safe and well cared for, are able to get on with one another and develop good friendships. The activities that we organise are planned to encourage imaginative and creative thinking. Learning how to listen and communicate with each other is a strong thread that runs through all of our activities.
